Ensuring every Canadian youth is given the opportunity to learn

Catapult Canada
April 4, 2024

Today we have grown the Catapult Canada community by an additional 32 youth-serving organizations on the front lines of removing barriers to learning and innovating in ways that support young learners. This translates into an incredible 30,000 young people who will now have the opportunity to achieve their own learning and career goals.

Each of the newly funded programs takes an innovative approach to increasing equity of learning access, from providing experiential learning opportunities and one-to-one academic support, to projects that focus on the arts and storytelling as a means of community engagement.

What’s more, they will benefit from a thriving and dynamic community of organizations, that offers more than just funding to support local learning initiatives, but mentorship, capacity building, as well as measurement and evaluation opportunities. This new cohort of funded NGOs will benefit from the opportunity to share ideas and build on each other’s successes.

The RHF is grateful to the Government of Canada’s Goal Getters program, the Azrieli Foundation and the Barrett Family Foundation for their ongoing support for Catapult Canada and learning equity.

Congratulations to all of the new Catapult Canada funded partners:
