Mentorship Programs Supporting Challenged Academically-Driven Youth

A summary of four promising practices to support challenged academically-driven youth via YouthREX. They are promising practices for recruiting mentors with key characteristics for: successful mentoring; creating inclusive, supporting and engaging learning environments; investing in young people’s academic goals; and facilitating youth engagement in volunteer, extracurricular, and employment opportunities. Implementing these practices will help organizations build their capacity to support youth.
