Operation Come Home has collaborated with the Students Commission of Canada (SCC) through its Sharing the Stories (StS) program, which offers customizable evaluation for non-profits serving youth. Together, they produces this report to evaluate Operation Come Home’s Education program designed to support NEET youth experiencing homelessness in the Ottawa area.
Evaluation results highlighted continued progress in supporting youth as they pursued their educational and personal goals. Participants demonstrated a strong commitment to completing high school, with many already in grade 12 or recently graduated. The reflections highlighted that the program is meaningfully enhancing their confidence, decision-making abilities, and openness to new opportunities, which are key indicators of healthy personal development.
