Parkdale Food Centre: Evaluation Report Year 1

This report is a comprehensive assessment prepared by the Students Commission of Canada (SCC) that evaluates the effectiveness of the programs—Growing Futures and TH1RTE3N (13:ASE)—offered by the Parkdale Food Centre in Ottawa. The organization aims to alleviate chronic food and financial insecurity while empowering youth with the professional skills and confidence needed to pursue careers and business ventures. This evaluation, based on both quantitative surveys (Preparing to Lead) and qualitative focus groups, revealed that participants developed new business skills, felt a stronger sense of self, and built positive relationships.
