The Henry Alexander House

The Henry Alexander House is a multifaceted facility that support community with programs, education, therapeutic counseling and respite services in person and online.

Our Movement for Change campaign birthed the L.E.O.N, which was a mobilized out of the challenges that immerged as a result of the disparities our community youth experienced in 2020 and have increased since.

Our L.E.O.N. Youth In Trades program is an affordable way that supports the education and job readiness of community BIPOC under-represented youth. We have been able to identify industry gaps and recognized the beneficial solution that would support community and business. Our focus for our initiative was to introduce youth to the trades, with an emphasis in renovations, culinary and HORTICULTURE for food security and grounding in nature.
