Power to Girls: Evaluation Report Year 1

This report is a comprehensive assessment prepared by the Students Commission of Canada (SCC) that evaluates the effectiveness of the Power to Girls program, a non-profit initiative focused on empowering Black and marginalized girls in the Greater Toronto Area and Ghana. Through mentorship, community interaction, and educational activities, the program fosters self-confidence, leadership, and cultural awareness among participants. The evaluation used both quantitative (surveys) and qualitative (focus groups and written responses) methods to analyze the the program’s effectiveness, revealing its success in building leadership qualities, instilling self-love, and fostering a supportive community.
