Roots of a Black Girl
The first of its kind in Canada, this study increases understanding of what is working for girls in the education system, and where they are feeling ignored, pushed out, and inadequately supported. Through the ‘Roots of a Black Girl’ Research project, we better understand the realities of girls’ experiences in schools. This has allowed us to assess and identify needs that can be addressed through our programs at Power to Girls Fdn.
